Allysa + Sam | Snowy Wedding | Vesica Piscis Chapel, Catoosa, OK

Allysa and Sam mean a whole lot to us here at Redeemed Productions. Over the last year, we have really come to love this couple. They were always so respectful of our work, and so easy to get along with. As luck would have it, their wedding day was in the middle of a beautiful Oklahoma snow storm. For us, it was like a dream come true! The snow flakes were falling all day long, which made a beautiful backdrop at Vesica Piscis. We were able to capture some amazing footage from above of the chapel covered in a blanket of snow.

This wedding was pretty difficult for us to edit, as Allysa’s father passed away a few months after the wedding. They didn’t even know if he was going to make it to the wedding. Not only did he make it to the wedding, he was able to walk his little girl down the aisle and hand her off to Sam. They shared several special moments together that day. We know how important these memories of her father are, and the responsibility that comes along with presenting the footage in a way that will show honor to her father for the years to come. There were several times where we just had to stop editing, cry for a bit, come back, edit some more, and repeat. Such an amazing day, filled with memories that they will never forget, and never stop cherishing. So glad we could be a small part of this story.

Melissa + Bill | Mayo Hotel Wedding | Downtown Tulsa, OK

Melissa + Bill | Mayo Hotel Wedding | Downtown Tulsa, OK

When we first met Melissa we instantly knew that we liked her. Not only was she hilarious, but she knew what she wanted for her wedding day. When we arrived at The Mayo Hotel, the girls were relaxing in their room, while the crew from Primp Hair and Makeup were getting them all dolled up. The guys were relaxing and enjoying some time as well. Bill, and his son Jackson (Jack) spent some time getting ready for the big ceremony. It was so sweet to see how Bill interacted with his son, and how much care they had for one another. Another fun aspect of the day is that we were shooting alongside our good pal Andrea Murphy (be sure to check her work out, it is fabulous!).

The timeline was a bit spread out so we had some time to just chill and enjoy the company of Melissa before the wedding. Tons of fun in that hotel room. We couldn’t stop laughing! After all the girls and guys got ready, it was time for the first look. Side note, first looks are AWESOME! They not only alleviate any pressure the couple is feeling, but they give you time to just say hey to one another before the ceremony. Think about it. Most of the time a bride and groom don’t get to be alone until they are driving away from their wedding. The first look allows you to just take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy your day. You can get your pictures all out of the way, and the list continues. Okay, rant over! Back to this awesome couple…

The ceremony was filled with laughs and tears. Melissa’s ring was only dropped twice, and she made it up the stairs successfully. One of our favorite moments was when Melissa and Bill both said vows to Jackson, Bill’s son. Such an emotional moment, and so sweet! The evening was filled with dancing, a photo wall, and some great times between the new family. All in all, this wedding was awesome. We have since kept in touch with Melissa, and she has continued to make us laugh every time we see her. Congrats you two! We had such a great time!

Nathan + Laura | Asbury United Methodist Church | Tulsa, OK

Nathan + Laura | Asbury United Methodist Church | Tulsa, OK

Nathan and Laura were married at Asbury Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! There was a slight breeze and the sun was shining bright. When Laura arrived that morning, she was glowing with happiness. She spent time with her bridesmaids applying final touch-ups before the first look. Moments later, Nathan was waiting anxiously outside for his soon-to-be bride. Laura tapped him on his shoulder and he turned around, speechless. Laura held back her tears, and they spent the next few minutes laughing and holding onto one another. Friends and families filled the room for their ceremony. It began with a sweet slideshow, displaying Laura and Nathan’s younger years as well as their lives together. Soon after, Laura’s dad walked her down the aisle and gave her hand to Nathan. The ceremony was really special to them, as Laura’s dad also officiated the wedding. After he pronounced them husband and wife, guests celebrated by cheering and showering them with bubbles outside of the church. The rest of the day was so relaxing. Friends and family visited with the newlyweds, took silly pictures in front of the photo wall, and enjoyed the candy bar. Laura and Nathan were so delightful to work with. We hope you enjoy their wedding film as much as we enjoyed capturing it!

Jordan + Sterling | October 25, 2014 | The Mayo Hotel

Jordan + Sterling | October 25, 2014 | The Mayo Hotel

Jordan and Sterling were such a pleasure to work with. The entire day was filled with emotion, as everyone cried tears of joy and laughter. Hours before the ceremony, the couple read a letter from one another. Sterling held back the tears as she read the sweetest words from her soon-to-be groom. Just moments later, Sterling’s dad waited to see his baby girl for the first time that day. When he turned around, he couldn’t stop saying how gorgeous she looked. They spent the next few minutes preparing and talking about the big day. It was such an emotional experience that they will be able to cherish for a lifetime.

Just as Sterling held back the tears while reading the letter, Jordan held his back as he saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle. He was in awe! The ceremony was amazing. Hundreds of friends and family members filled the room. After they recited their vows to each other, they made their way up to the Crystal Ballroom to dance the night away and celebrate the new beginning of their lives. From the custom ice sculptures to the centerpieces, the entire day was so elegant and we are so happy to have been a part of it. We wish nothing but the best to this fun couple!

Paige + Brandon | Bridle Creek | Sperry, OK | Wedding Videography

Paige + Brandon | Bridle Creek  | Wedding Videography

Paige + Brandon were married at Bridle Creek in Sperry, OK. This November wedding was one of our favorites, because the bride Paige actually works for Redeemed Productions. We spent the day laughing and having a great time as Paige got ready. This wedding looked like it could be in a magazine. The greatest part is that Paige’s family basically put the entire wedding together on their own. It looked like they hired some of the best vendors in town, but they seriously made it look incredible themselves. From the homemade sweets stand, to the cake, they did it all.

Paige is one of those people that can get super emotional, and very quickly. So there were definitely some moments during the day where there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. One of those moments was the first look with Brandon. It is such an amazing moment to watch as the bride and groom see each other for the first time. Another moment was the girls prayer right before the ceremony. That was such a beautiful moment to be a part of.

The ceremony was filled with laughs, and a few tears as the two became one. The reception was filled with laughing and dancing and ended with a sparkler send off!

Tommy + Jessica | First United Methodist Church | Sky Loft Tulsa, OK

Tommy + Jessica | First United Methodist Church | Sky Loft Tulsa, OK

Tommy and Jessica were married at the First United Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK and every moment of their wedding day was perfect. They were so happy and anxious while they got ready in their rooms at The Mayo Hotel. Jessica’s sister helped her with some finishing touches as they listened to music and drank champagne. Tommy relaxed with his parents and groomsmen upstairs. Before they left for the church, Jessica shared a very special moment with her dad when he saw her for the first time that day. The room filled with tears and laughter over the next few minutes. Jessica then gave her dad the cutest photo collage that read, “Today a bride, tomorrow a wife, forever your little girl.” We love filming father-daughter first looks because we get to witness the true friendship that has developed between them over the years.

After taking a few photos, Jessica and the girls made their way to the church where Jessica prepared for the first look. Just outside the church, Tommy waited anxiously. He was amazed when he turned around to see her standing there. He was so in love with her gorgeous princess-cut dress! They were the best of friends, and we could see it clearly in that moment. Just a couple hours later, the ceremony began. The pastor, a close family friend, did a wonderful job and spoke the most beautiful words about Tommy and Jessica. The ceremony was very emotional at times, but he lightened up the mood by cracking a few jokes every now and then. After they exchanged vows, the newlyweds jumped on the trolly to head to the reception at The Sky Loft just down the road. They celebrated for hours while they danced with glow sticks and confetti canons. We had so much fun capturing these moments, and we will always remember Tommy and Jessica’s special day.

Katherine + Alex | Wedding Highlight | Christ the King, The Broadway | Tulsa, OK

Katherine + Alex | Wedding Highlight | Christ the King, The Broadway | Tulsa, OK

Alex and Katherine were such a joy to be around. When we first met them, we just knew they were going to be a blast to work with! They made us laugh and assured us the whole day would be fun. Katherine even told us, “We love to entertain, and we just really want a big party to celebrate everything.” And that’s exactly how the entire day went.

Katherine was a little nervous throughout the day but every ounce of stress went away as soon as she saw Alex for the first time during their first look. She held back her tears and Alex kept telling her how beautiful she looked. From that moment on, the rest of the day was so laid back and they were ready to begin their new lives together. After the ceremony, everyone made their way to The Broadway to celebrate with the newlyweds. The rest of the night felt like a big party, just how Katherine and Alex wanted it! We loved working with them, and we are so excited to show you just how awesome their wedding day was.

Katie + Tyler, Feature Film | Bixby First United Methodist Church | OK40 Ranch | Wedding Videography

Katie and Tyler’s wedding was absolutely stunning! Tyler is a long time friend of ours here at Redeemed, so we were thrilled when they asked us to do both videography and photography for the big day. They were so easy to work with, and it showed in their video and photos. The day started as they were getting ready at OK40 Ranch just south of Bixby, OK. The girls got ready in the house and relaxed. Katie’s bridal party was a ton of fun and made for an amazing day! After Katie put on her dress, she made her way outside to do the first look with Tyler. It was an amazing moment as Tyler was able to see his bride for the first time all dressed up. Tyler was stunned by Katie, he couldn’t stop saying “you look so beautiful” all day long.  A few moments later Katie had a sweet moment with a first look with her father and brother. Tears welled in his eyes as he read a note from his daughter.

The ceremony was located in Bixby, OK at the First United Methodist Church. The entire room was filled with family and friends. After the I do’s, the couple made their way back to the OK40 Ranch to celebrate their reception. There were so many people at this reception, and it made for a great party. Katie and Tyler were so great to work with, and we hope you enjoy their video!

Matt + Rebecca | Camp Loughridge | Tulsa, OK

Matt + Rebecca | Camp Loughridge | Tulsa, OK

It is such a joy to watch two people start a life together. Especially when you know they are absolutely meant to be. Matthew and Rebecca were married this summer at Camp Loughridge in Tulsa. It was a beautiful, sunny day and everyone was in such a great mood to watch Matt and Rebecca begin their new lives together. The girls got ready at the Mayo Hotel while Matt and his groomsmen got ready at The Crowne Plaza at Southern Hills. They were both so anxious to see one another. When the time finally came for Matt to see his bride in her gorgeous dress, his eyes lit up. Rebecca’s dad walked her down the aisle, gave Matthew a firm handshake, and gave his baby girl away to him. The ceremony was incredible. Rebecca’s brother officiated the wedding and brought both tears and laughter into the moment. The entire day was a reflection of happiness and love. We are so honored to be able to capture days like this and we wish Matt and Rebecca a lifetime full of love, friendship, and laughter.

Aaron + Brooke | First United Methodist | Mayo Wedding Reception | Tulsa, OK

Aaron + Brooke | First United Methodist | Mayo Wedding Reception | Tulsa, OK

Aaron and Brooke were married at First United Methodist in Tulsa, OK. It was such a beautiful day and everyone was so happy. Brooke and her bridesmaids got ready at The Mayo earlier that day and were able to spend some quality girl time before the ceremony. Hours later they rode The Old Urban Trolley to the church to take pictures. Brooke looked gorgeous in her long, strapless dress and the sunshine really brought out its beauty. Aaron and his groomsmen were very relaxed that day as well. They were all wearing black tuxedos and bowties, along with bright orange Reebok crossfit shoes. Aaron and Brooke are very passionate and active crossfitters, and you could see that detail of their lives all throughout the day. When the time came for the ceremony to begin, Brooke put her veil on and awaited the big moment. Her dad walked her down the aisle, gave her away, and the ceremony began. There was a lot of laughter, and you could tell they were best friends, despite the fact that they are rivals when it comes to Bedlam Day. After they were finally pronounced husband and wife, they rode the trolley back to The Mayo for the reception. They danced, laughed, and spent time with friends and family on the rooftop of the hotel. The entire night was a huge celebration for Aaron and Brooke as they were starting a new journey together.
